No pics today - the weather was awful! It was POURING and Daniel was out in the rain when I got there. They had taken Charlie out of the pasture with him. He was alone, so he was very willing to come into the barn with me.
I picked his hooves, brushed him, and gave him some treats... but the grooming area is made for a horse half his size! When he was in the cross-ties, his butt was smack up against the wall!!! We met some more of the people, then I walked him down to the run-in shed. I think he was confused by the blackmesh netting that they use to keep flies down and provide some shade. So, I walked into the run in, showed him it was ok, and I held the mesh up to him, crinkled it up, moved it this way and that, and after all that, he walked back out in the rain. Oh well, I tried!
I'll go back tomorrow, and if it's not raining, maybe I'll get a ride in!
