No pics today, but Dawn came out to trim Daniel's hooves and gave me the first (of MANY, I'm sure) lesson in hoof trimming!
Dawn did most of the work, then had me do a little bit for the practice. I'm going to try to re-do his mustang roll once or twice a week. Dawn said that since Daniel's got so much "real estate" (as Leeandra would say) maybe doing the fronts one day and the rears another might be easier than trying to trim all 4 hooves on one day, once a week.
So, now I have my own file, and there are plenty of hoof stands around the barn, so I hope Dawn doesn't have a lot of work to do when she comes back in 4 weeks!!!!
