OK, so I'm a little nuts. As a 40-something fat and arthritic re-rider, working full-time, finishing my Master's degree at an Ivy, I found an instructor, and more importantly a horse, a 17.2h, 2200 lb Percheron gelding, who kept me sane! I do a lot of volunteering in pet therapy with dogs, Daniel's my own therapy.
This is a place to store my thoughts, and try to track our progress.

Much better today!!!
Mrs. W thought his heels were too high and took them down a bit yesterday. I went after work tonight (my Mom went along) to check him and he was much, much better! I took a little off his heels and felt SO much better about him!!!
