OK, so I'm a little nuts. As a 40-something fat and arthritic re-rider, working full-time, finishing my Master's degree at an Ivy, I found an instructor, and more importantly a horse, a 17.2h, 2200 lb Percheron gelding, who kept me sane! I do a lot of volunteering in pet therapy with dogs, Daniel's my own therapy.
This is a place to store my thoughts, and try to track our progress.

The oldies
Daniel (black Percheron gelding) and Granit (not Granite, grey Oldenberg mare) in the back part of their field. Only day two, but he seems perkier and there's no trace of a limp (showing off for the mare, perhaps?)
